Design Director and Creative Lead shaping campaign direction and system rollout at Sametz Blackstone Associates
As Lyric Opera of Chicago expanded its programming, the existing visual approach struggled to communicate the emotional depth of each production. The goal was to create a flexible campaign framework capable of supporting season-wide marketing across print, digital, and on-site experiences.
We centered the new system around emotion-driven storytelling, using custom typography and production-specific imagery to create distinct yet cohesive campaign visuals. Each show was treated as its own visual world within a consistent brand structure that unified materials across platforms.
The system extended across brochures, digital ads, donor communications, and environmental materials, allowing flexibility without sacrificing brand clarity.
