MITES (MIT Introduction to Technology, Engineering, and Science) provides transformative STEM education experiences for underrepresented high school students. As the program approached its 50th anniversary, the brand had become fragmented across digital and print touchpoints, leading to inconsistencies in recruitment, communication, and storytelling.

The objective was to unify and modernize the identity while building a scalable system that could support recruitment, digital growth, and milestone campaigns.

Building on the existing hexagon mark, we developed an expanded visual language and modular brand system designed for flexibility across web, print, merchandise, and campaign materials. The refreshed identity extended into a fully redesigned website created in Figma, along with recruitment brochures, direct mail, presentation templates, anniversary campaign assets, and comprehensive brand guidelines. Each element was designed to clarify complex program information and create a cohesive experience across every audience touchpoint.

The result is a flexible, future-facing system that strengthened brand recognition, improved clarity, and supported both day-to-day communications and a high-visibility 50-year celebration.
