The Food Voice was a new initiative made to combine two leading organizations in the progressive food movement, Edible Boston and Let's Talk About Food, into one multi-media platform that encompasses print, events, digital, and social media outreach to advance public engagement in our food system.

As the art director and lead designer, I collaborated with my team to create the new identifier, art directed the development of the suite of icons, and designed the website.

Unfortunately this project was stopped and never completed; however, I am proud of the work that has been done and I am therefore sharing.

Five icons were created, in collaboration with colleague Ben Young, to categorize The Food Voice’s expertise in cooking, farming, fishing, health, and policy & conversation. The icons were not only used in the identifier itself, but also throughout the website as can be seen with the article hover states above.
